| St.
Paul Chapter
I wish to thank Wendy Degler for all of
her invaluable leadership, vision, energy, dedication, and willingness
to make a difference during her too brief term as President of the
St. Paul Chapter. We look forward to the day when Wendy will be
able to join us once again, and we leave the door open for her return
as the President of the St. Paul Chapter. Through Wendy’s
efforts the St. Paul Chapter has been one of the best nationally
for the IMA.
I also wish to express my gratitude to Jason Golde
for stepping forward to become the next St. Paul Chapter President.
Although relatively new to the St. Paul Chapter Jason enjoyed a
highly successful tenure as President of the Lake Superior Chapter
in Duluth last year. Jason recently moved to the Twin Cities, now
works for Cargill, is planning a wedding this summer, and is transitioning
to his new life here.
When life settles down for Jason I will look to
transition the Presidency of the Chapter to him, and I know Jason’s
energy and creative ideas will propel the St. Paul Chapter to become
an even better Chapter.
April is an exciting month for the St. Paul Chapter.
We are proud to host a dinner meeting for the members of the St.
Paul and Minneapolis Chapters on Thursday, April 21 at the Embassy
Suites in downtown St. Paul. Our guest speaker will be Larry White,
CMA, CFM, CPA, CGCFM current IMA National Chair.
Larry will also attend the Annual Leadership Seminar
hosted by the Northern Lights Regional Council on Friday, April
22, 2005 at Land O’Lakes in Arden Hills. Information on these
and all Chapter activities is located on the Chapter website. I
look forward to seeing you at one of our future events.
We need additional board members on the St. Paul
Chapter board. We need your participation on the Chapter board.
Please join us for an evening of socializing and information regarding
your role on the Chapter board when we host a social hour on Tuesday,
April 26, 2005 at the Embassy Suites in downtown St. Paul. Stop
in and have some free food and meet the current board members to
discuss what you can do to help make your Chapter one of the best
IMA Chapters.
